Delta State University, Abraka, in partnership with the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB), invites qualified candidates to apply for admission into the School of Foundation Studies for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Successful candidates who pass the JUPEB examination will be eligible for admission into 200 level of various degree programs at the university through JAMB. This offers a pathway for students to easily transition from foundation studies to degree programs.
Candidates interested in the JUPEB Foundation Programs must have at least five (5) credit passes in a minimum of five (5) “O” Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, achieved in no more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB). For courses such as Medicine & Surgery, Dentistry, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, and Pharmacy, all five O’ Level credit passes must be obtained in one sitting.
The approved subject combinations outlined can satisfy the direct entry requirements for Delta State University and over 70 affiliated JUPEB universities, including prestigious institutions such as OAU, UNILAG, UNN, and UNIPORT.
The foundation studies will take a minimum of one academic session, consisting of two semesters. Successful candidates will be accommodated in the university’s halls of residence located in Site II, Abraka.
To apply, candidates must visit the school portal to generate a virtual PIN at the cost of Twenty Thousand Naira Only (₦20,000). Payments can be made at selected banks, including Unity Bank, UBA, Zenith Bank, and Fidelity Bank. Ensure that the names are accurately entered, as errors will not be rectified.
