The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has officially released the details for its Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. Prospective candidates are advised to follow the guidelines strictly to ensure a successful application process.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for FUTA Post UTME or Direct Entry screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:
UTME Candidates must have chosen FUTA as their first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored 180 and above.
Direct Entry Candidates must possess at least Upper Credit in ND, Credit in NCE, or equivalent A-Level qualifications from recognized institutions.
All applicants must have a minimum of five O’level credits including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
Registration Guidelines
The registration process is entirely online and can be completed on FUTA’s official portal. Follow these steps:
1. Visit the official FUTA Post UTME portal: https://www.futa.edu.ng
2. Click on the “2025/2026 POST UTME/DE Application” link.
3. Make a payment of ₦2,000 via REMITA.
4. Fill in your bio-data, O’level results, UTME/DE details accurately.
5. Upload a passport-sized photograph (not older than 6 months).
6. Preview and submit your application.
7. Print out your acknowledgment slip for future reference.
Note: Registration commences on July 29, 2025, and closes on August 23, 2025. Late applications will not be entertained.
FUTA Post UTME/DE Screening Date
FUTA’s Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Post UTME is expected to hold between September 2 and September 6, 2025. Candidates will receive their exam schedule via email and the portal dashboard.
