The benefiting institutions include:

• Bayero University Kano
• Federal University, Dutsin-Ma
• University of Ilorin
• University of Benin
• University of Ibadan
• University of Maiduguri

Students from these universities who have already had their institutional fees covered by NELFUND were the first to receive the much-needed stipends.
