2025 Fully Funded Government of Malaysia MTCP Scholarship – Apply Now
The Government of Malaysia invites applications for the Malaysia Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Scholarship 2025. This fully funded postgraduate scholarship supports outstanding international students from around the world who are interested in pursuing graduate studies in Malaysia. Successful applicants will receive full tuition coverage, generous living stipends, and additional allowances to support their academic and personal needs.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the 2025 MTCP Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be no older than 45 years at the time of application.
- Must hold a Second Class Upper Honours (minimum CGPA of 3.50) in a relevant field.
- Must have earned their previous degree with English as the medium of instruction.
- Must submit a valid English proficiency test score, meeting one of the following minimums:
- IELTS: 6.0
TOEFL iBT: 70
- Must be pursuing or intending to pursue a postgraduate degree in one of the following fields:
- Science, Technology, and Engineering (excluding nursing, medicine, and clinical pharmacy)
- Economics, Finance, Management, and Banking
- Social Sciences and Humanities
- Information and Communication Technology
- International Relations and Political Science
- Agriculture and Aquaculture
- Education
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive the following comprehensive benefits under the MTCP scheme:
- Full Tuition Fee Coverage for the entire duration of the programme.
- Annual Living Stipend of approximately $9,516 (RMB 3,500/month).
- Additional financial support includes:

One-time return economy-class airline ticket from the applicant’s closest international airport to Malaysia, and back to their home country upon completion of the programme.
