Food Technology 

FEDPO-Nek and Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Ondo State. (RUGIPO) require at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language

Fidei Polytechnic, Benue State accepts five credits from SSCIE/GCE subjects. The subjects are to include, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science/Health Science, Economics/Commerce, Additional/Further Maths, Statistics, Home Economics, Food and Nutrition/ Hotel Catering and Geography. A pass in English accepted.

Urban and Regional Planning

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic (RUGIPO) accepts ‘O’ Level pass in English Language. Requires Mathematics, Economics/Geography and a Science subject as UTME subject. RUGIPO accepts ‘O’ Level pass in English Language.

Pharmaceutical Technology

Ogun Poly Ipokia (OGUN-POLY) requires four (4) ‘O’ Level credit passes at one (1) sitting or five (5) credits at not more than two (2) sittings to include Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics with a pass in English Language and Physics. Agricultural Science is not acceptable as an alternative to Biology.

Fisheries Technology

Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko (FIDEIPOLY) and Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri (FEDPO-NEK) require five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any three (3) of Statistics, Geography, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce/Government and Physics. ‘O’ Level pass in the English language is required

 Mechanical Engineering Technology

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic (RUGIPO) accepts ‘O’ Level pass in the English Language

Ogun Poly Ipokia (OGUN-POLY) accepts a pass in the English Language

Forestry Technology

Federal College of Wildlife Management, Kainji (FEDWILD-NBUS) requires ‘O’ Level passes in English Language and Chemistry and ‘O’ Level credit passes in Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics and any three (3) of the following – Geography, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Technical Drawing, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Nigerian Language and Home Economics

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic (RUGIPO) requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes to include Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, Chemistry and two (2) from Geography, Economics, English Language and Physics. It requires at least ‘O’ Level pass in the English Language

Computer Science

Kaduna Polytechnic (KAD-POLY) requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in Mathematics and a Social Science subject. The two (2) other subjects should include Physics as a basic science subject and at least a pass in English Language, Food & Nutrition is not acceptable.

Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti (FEDPO-ADO) requires ‘O’ Level pass in English Language and four (4) ‘O’ Level credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and two (2) subjects from the Social Sciences and one (1) from the Science.

Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Jos (FECOFOR-JOS)requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two (2) of Chemistry, Biology, Geography, and Economics as course requirements

Nogak Polytechnic, Ikom (NOGAK) accepts ‘O’ Level pass in English Language and ‘O’ Level credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and any two from Social Sciences

Federal College of Wildlife Management, Kainji (FEDWILD-NBUS) – ‘O’ Level passes in English Language and Physics are compulsory. ‘O’ Level credit passes in Mathematics and three (3) other subjects chosen from the following – Economics, Geography, Government/History, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, English Language, Typewriting

Akwa Ibom State College of Arts and Science (AKCAS) requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in Mathematics, Physics/Chemistry/Biology and any other two (2) subjects from Agricultural Science, Further Mathematics, Statistics, Technical Drawing, Physics, Chemistry and ‘O’ Level pass in the English Language.

Federal School of Statistics Manchok (FSS-MANCHOK) requires five (5) credit passes in Mathematics, a basic Science and three (3) other subjects from Economics, Geography, Government, Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science and English Language. A pass in the English Language is required.

 Computer Engineering

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic (RUGIPO) accepts ‘O’ Level pass in the English Language.

Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri (FEDPO-NEK) and The Polytechnic, Ibadan (IBPOLY) require at least ‘O’ Level pass in the English Language.

Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko (FIDEIPOLY) requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings, the credits must include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any two from, Biology/Agricultural Science, Information Communication Technology, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Statistics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, and Economics/Commerce. A pass in the English Language is accepted.

Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology

Ogun Poly Ipokia (OGUN-POLY) accepts a pass in the English Language

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic (RUGIPO) accepts a pass in the English Language

Polymer Technology Course

Nigerian Institute of Leather Technology and Science Technology requires four or more O/L credit passes or its equivalent which must include Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Biology at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language in not more than two sittings.

 Statistics 

The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State (The Polytechnic, Ibadan) accepts Credit passes in Economic/Commerce, Statistics and at least a Pass in English Language but does not accept History

FEDPONAS requires credits in Mathematics, a Social Science Subject, a basic Sci. subject and one other from the subjects listed in column 2 for Comp. Sci. Also, a pass in English Language is required.

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Ondo State. (RUGIPO) accepts a pass in English Language.

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) accepts four credits at not more than two sittings to include Mathematics with at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English language. English Language is not counted as a required credit pass.

Quantity Surveying 

FIDEI and Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna (KAD-POLY) require at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language. It requires Mathematics, Physics and anyone from Economics, Geography or Chemistry as UTME subjects.

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Ondo State. (RUGIPO) requires a pass in English Language.

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) requires four credits at one sitting or five credits at not more than two sittings to include Mathematics, Physics/Chemistry with at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language.

Agricultural Technology

Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro and Plateau State College of Agriculture require at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English

FCLT-OWER requires at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language.

FEDAGRIC-AKR requires at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language and Mathematics. Accepts four credit

FEDAGRIC-IBD requires at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language, Mathematics and Chemistry.

Animal Health and Production 

FEDWILD-NBUS requires a pass in English Language and Chemistry are compulsory

Plateau State College of Agriculture requires at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language and Mathematics/Physics.

Civil Engineering Technology

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) requires five credits at not more than two sittings to include credit passes in Chemistry and Physics and at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language.

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Ondo State. (RUGIPO) accepts a pass in English Language.

Environmental Health Technology 

Mathematics, Biology/Health Science and any three from Nutrition, Chemistry, Physics, Religious Studies, Geography, Economics, Nigerian Language Plus at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language, Food and Nutrition/Home Management.

Forestry Technology

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Ondo State. (RUGIPO) requires at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language and Physics are required.

FEDWILD-NBUS requires a pass in English Language and Chemistry are compulsory.

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Ondo State. (RUGIPO) requires at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language.

Science Laboratory Technology

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Ondo State. (RUGIPO) requires a pass in English Language and Physics is compulsory.

Nigerian Institute of Leather Technology and Science Technology requires at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language at not more than two sittings

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Ondo State. (RUGIPO) requires a pass in English Language and Physics.

Surveying and Geoinformatics

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Ondo State. (RUGIPO) requires credit pass in Physics or Chemistry and a pass in English Language.

MAPLOY does not accept Agricultural Science as an alternative to Biology but accepts at least a pass in (D7 or E8) English Language.
