The deceased, Tochi Martins Attah, popularly known as T-Funds, was a third-year student who had recently transferred from the Department of Microbiology to pursue a medical degree, reflecting his ambition, brilliance, and determination to succeed.
A Sudden Tragedy on Campus
The heartbreaking incident occurred on the morning of Monday, July 7, 2025, within the Elmada Hostel area of the university. According to eyewitnesses and reports gathered by Naija Pulse, Attah collapsed unexpectedly in the middle of a friendly football game. Despite swift efforts to administer medical attention and revive him, he was pronounced dead on the spot.
